Enregistrer une radio internet et obtenir des morceaux séparés sur le disque dur

Le son des radios internet, même avec un débit de 128k, n'est certainement pas ultra-hifi, on est d'accord. Cependant pour les mélomanes il peut être intéressant d'écouter certaines des radios très spécialisées qui fleurissent sur la toile, pour découvrir les bons morceaux qui complèteront la collection.

Pour éviter de perdre du temps à écouter des morceaux qu'on connait déjà ça peut être intéressant d'enregistrer la radio web puis d'écouter l'enregistrement à son aise plus tard. Dans certains pays l'enregistrement d'émissions radio est autorisé pour autant que l'usage soit restreint au cercle familial strict.

Autrefois on enregistrait sur cassette audio, aujourd'hui il est possible d'enregistrer sur son disque dur. Mieux encore il est possible d'obtenir automatiquement chaque morceau sous la forme d'un fichier séparé sur le disque dur. On peut pour cela utiliser un programme comme Streamripper. Il fonctionne sous MAC OS X (son nom est alors SRX) et sous Windows. Il s'agit d'un shareware, c'est-à-dire que ce programme peut être utilisé avec ses pleines fonctionnalités avant même de le payer.

Elizabeth Ann Guttman (born September 11, 1961), better known by her stage names of Elizabeth Daily and E.G. Daily, is an American voice actress, actress, singer, songwriter, and musician. Daily was born in Los Angeles, California.

Singing career >

Daily also signed with A&M Records in 1985, (Working with Jellybean and Stephen Bray of "Madonna" Fame) and it was in 1986 that the label released the R&B/Rock single "Say It, Say It".

The song only made it to #70 on Billboard Hot 100, but claimed the #1 spot on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart.

Her songs "Shake It Up" and "I'm Hot Tonight" were included in the soundtrack to the film Scarface.

Those same songs were later included in the lineup of fictional radio station Flashback 95.6 in the Grand Theft Auto III video game.

These same songs were also included in the Scarface:The World Is Yours video game, which is based on the 1983 film. Her hit "Love in the Shadows" was featured in the film Thief of Hearts.

She also had a top 10 hit in 1987 with the song "Mind Over Matter" which is featured in the movie Summer School.

The song was originally meant for Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry, but due to legal circumstances the singer dropped out and the song went to Elizabeth instead.

Kelly Ripa can be seen featured on the now defunct dance show Dance Party USA lip synching the song to the audience in one of the many featured dancers routines.

Daily is also a musician as well as a singer. She plays guitar, harmonica, keyboards, and percussion.

In her 1988 song, "Some People", she plays guitar and harmonica. Other singers had to join in because Elizabeth cannot sing and play the harmonica at the same time.

She also sang a song that was used in The Breakfast Club called "Waiting" (it also appeared on the soundtrack); the tune is playing on the janitor's radio when he comes into the library.

Her longest lasting role has been as the voice of Tommy Pickles, which she has played for 14 (now 15 years since the reproduction of All Grown Up began on November 12, 2007) years in the animated series Rugrats (1991-2004) and All Grown Up! (2003-2007).

In the early 1980s she played a runaway in Rod Stewart's "Young Turks" music video.

From 1980 to 1982 she played the character Sandy Burns on the PBS series "The Righteous Apples".

Claudja Barry, born 1952 in Jamaica, raised in Toronto, Canada and later based in Germany, is a Pop, Hi-NRG and House music singer and actress who has performed in the European versions of the stage musicals Hair and Catch My Soul.

Early Music Career

Before she embarked on a solo career, Claudja Barry was part of the studio group Boney M from 1975 to 1976. She has had two Billboard Hot 100 entries. The first being "Dancin' Fever" which peaked at #72. The other song being "Boogie Woogie Dancin' Shoes" (R&B #37, Pop #56 in 1979) from the album I Wanna Be Loved By You, released in 1978. Both became major mainstream pop hits in Canada and Europe. Also the 1976 soulful ballad "Love for the Sake of Love" got airplay.

The 1980s

During 1980 with the release her Claudja's Feel The Fire album, was becoming highly synthersized songs because this was her final album to feature an earthier, more horn & string approach to the production of her music. By 1981, she made a successful foray into New Wave/Hi-NRG music with the Made In Hong Kong album which is touted as her best album. It featured the lead single "Radio Action" which became a moderate club hit peaking at #57. In 1985, she appeared in the movie Rappin', starring Mario Van Peebles. The year 1985 also saw the release of the single, "Born To Love" which sounds similar to a Pet Shop Boys or Erasure song. This single was produced by New York City based Hi-NRG producer, singer and songwriter, Bobby Orlando. It was the lead single from her album, If I Do It To You. "Born To Love" features airy, ethereal syths and aggressive, syncopated sythersizers and a fierce lead guitar which made it a Top 20 smash, peaking at #14 on Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Dance format radio stations in the United States did give it major exposure since the album it was lifted from was a UK only release. The follow up single was the sensual title track.
On the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, she has much more success: six Top 10 hits, including "Down and Counting," which spent a week at #1 in 1986. The song also became only the third single to chart outside of the Dance charts in the U.S., peaking at a #98 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Barry did not have further success on that chart despite several mid tempo and ballad songs such as "I Will Follow Him" and "If I Do It To You" which could have been hits on the chart had they been pushed on the Urban radio format in 1982. "Down and Counting" was the lead single from her album, "I, Claudja", her only record for Epic Records.

The 1990s

After her run at Epic did not result in another album, she went more quiet, focusing her music career to her fans in Canada and aboard. She still remained active recording a pair of underground club classics during the early 1990s. The singles "Love Is An Island" (1991) and "Summer of Love" (1992) are highly regarded club hits to those who know them. In 1993, the German euro-dance project General Base featured Barry as lead singer for their single "Poison", which got a greater success. "Summer of Love" was successful enough that it maintains radio airplay on some radio stations such as WMPH. Both single became major hits outside of the U.S. After a Christmas/Holiday Dance album titled, Disco'round The Christmas Tree was released on Radikal Records in 1995, then an extended mix compilation titled, Disco Mixes, she went quiet for the remainder of the decade because she wanted to focus on raising a family.

1999 to Present

In 1999, R&B artist Montell Jordan sampled the rhythm track from Barry's single "Love For the Sake of Love," for the hit titled, "Get It On Tonite" (#4 on the Hot 100). In May 2006, Barry returned to the Billboard charts with "I Will Stand" released on Donna Jean Records. In 1966 he starts to study harmony, composition and direction of orchestra at the Conservatory. In the first years of his career (1978-1980) he is a pioneer in the Italian disco scene and writes great classics for Macho, Azoto, Passengers, Tantra to name a few. In the 80's he is involved in the so called italo disco music and arranged tracks like Peter Richard's - Walking In The Neon, RAF - Self Control, Matia Bazar - Ti Sento, etc.
Still producing and collaborating with many different musicians.

Born Shannon Brenda Greene May 2 1958 in Washington, D.C.) is an American singer.

She is best known for her 1983 dance/freestyle record, "Let the Music Play". The record redefined the electro funk sound that Arthur Baker and John Rocca (who produced "I.O.U" by Freeez and "One More Shot/Get Wet" by C-Bank) developed in 1982.

Before music career

In the spring of 1983 a young black (Latin and native descendant) woman named Shannon Greene was enrolled in York College and toured with the New York Jazz Ensemble. Quintin Hicks an associated of Mark Liggett and Chris Barbosa. Hicks saw Shannon singing with a live band in her cousin's studio. He thought she was perfect for what the duo was looking for. Shannon auditioned for Liggett and Barbosa for the song "She Can't Love You Like I Do" (Little Tony 14yrs.) a project prior to Shannon "Let The Music Play". They liked her and her vocals so much, she was introduced to the track "Fire and Ice", which was renamed to "Let the Music Play". Under the direction of Chris Barbosa, Shannon added artist contribution (the Shannon stamp to the vocals) thus creating the World Hit "Let the Music Play" Album also entitled with the same name.

Music career

In July 1983, the single was released without her knowledge. Shannon was invited back to lay out more songs for Liggett and Barbosa. The Shannon's Sound and Barbosa, a Puerto Rican/Italian from New York was considered the founder of Freestyle music. "Let the Music Play" is well known as the first freestyle music track. Its heavy syncopated drum sound with Latin American rhythms was not so electro as the sound has progressed today. The single's success led to the number eight Pop position on the Billboard Top 100 and took over the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart making Shannon the international Dance Queen of the World. Today the song is well-regarded as one of the most influential dance records of all times ever recorded # 22 in the World. Her follow up single 1985 was "Give Me Tonight", a record that was noted the best song of the year [[Billboard], it received the same wild enthusiasm as its predecessor and also hit the top spot on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. It also gained Urban radio airplay. Her debut album Let the Music Play was released February 1984. The album sold over 8 Million World Wide. It was considered the first Freestyle Album in History. Shannon was nominated for a Grammy and received numerous Awards, Dianah Washington (Jack the Rapper Award), Hall Of Fame Award, Gold Ampex Reel Award, Certified Gold Single, Best Billboard Top 10 female R&B vocalist; She recorded the Title song "criminal" for the Movie "Fatal Beauty, Budweiser Jingles and more... she has been forever captured on film live with her Band (Westwood One). The Cult Jam's 1985 release was an inspiration of Shannon's club hit "My Heart's Divided." Shannon appeared on many television shows all over the world. She is known as the Dance Diva Of the World (Latin America, Europe, Carribeans, The Orient, Africa, India, Arab Nations, Israel.... Her music and videos transcended all boundaries and airways.
In 1985 Shannon released her second album Do You Wanna Get Away, with a sound similar to her previous album. The title track charted the Billboard Hot 100. The single was embraced by the club/dance music community and chart-topper. She scored three more Dance music hits but by 1986 her third album, Love Goes All The Way, did not bring the same success as previous albums. Politics within the Atlantic/Warner Bros Record Company, Shannon sought a release from her recording contract in 1987. While touring the World Shannon attended and graduated from The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts (NYC) for acting, now adding several off broadway plays to her career (well rounded, singer, dancer and actress) She is the most Freestyle emulated performer of all times.

The 1990s

In the late 1990s interest of Shannon rekindled VH1's spotlight her on their One Hit Wonders series, Entertainment Tonight taped there one hour special about her life. There were enormous amount of remixes of "Let the Music Play", and "Give Me Tonight".

Featured recordings with Sash! and Todd Terry. In 1998, she co-wrote and sang on the track Take a Little Time by Les Rythmes Digitales.

2000 to present

In the year 2000, Shannon released her fourth studio album, The Best Is Yet To Come Shannon co- writer of the album. Chris Barbosa was invited back as a producer to recapture the sound of her 1980s hits "Let The Music Play and Give Me Tonight. Many notable producers, including Andy Panda and Tony Moran were featured on the new album. An Hex Hector remix 2000 AD (After The Decade) "Give Me Tonight" from the set made the song a colossal club hit again while its follow-up, an update of "Let the Music Play", though still a hit, interestingly proved to be less popular - a role reversal of when she debuted with the songs in the 80's).
The Greatest Hits album released in November 2004.
On April 20, 2006 Shannon participated in the Freestyle Extranvaganza concert along with fellow Freestyle acts like Judy Torres , George Lamond, Cynthia, Lisette Melendez, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, the Cover Girls, Hanson and Davis, Coro, Stevie B. and more. The event was sponsored by WKTU, WSKQ, and WCAA in New York.

Alec R. Costandinos' recording career may have been short-lived, but the Euro-disco producer dominated the disco world during his late-'70s reign. After having made a name for himself after co-writing Cerrone's "Love in C Minor" in 1977, Costandinos signed to the French label Barclay where he released his first record as Love and Kisses. This self-titled 1977 LP featured the timeless disco hit "I've Found Love (Now That I've Found You)." Soon he was releasing hit records on America's most recognized disco label, Casablanca. Perhaps more importantly, though, he introduced the concept album to dancefloor music with his well-regarded Romeo & Juliet album in 1977, followed by a number of other less successful conceptual efforts. He became best known for "I've Found Love," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Thank God It's Friday" (the theme song to the movie of the same name), but literally disappeared after a prolific 1977 to 1979 run.

Before Costandinos became one of the world's top Euro-disco producers, though, he began his career producing songs by French pop artists such as Dalida and Claude Francoise. Born Alexandre Kouyoumdjiam in Cairo, Egypt, in 1944 to an Armenian father and a Greek mother, he moved to Paris at age 22 after some time spent in Australia. It was his work with Cerrone there that finally proved to be his big break, and with the acclaim he garnered from "Love in C Minor," he set up shop in London's Trident Studios and began working nonstop for the next three years.

First came the 1977 self-titled debut by Love and Kisses on Barclay. This debut confirmed Costandinos' gift for epic disco anthems, which often clocked over 15 minutes and spanned the entire side of an LP. Next came his first release for Neil Bogart's Casablanca label, a conceptual disco LP released under the moniker Sphinx. The album wasn't a huge hit, but it was impressive with its ambitious scope. Another conceptual release under the moniker Sumeria, Golden Tears, was similarly ambitious, but it was Costandinos' landmark Romeo & Juliet record, released under his own name, that solidified his legacy. Soon Costandinos was writing the hit theme song to the Casablanca-affiliated disco film Thank God It's Friday and contributing another hit song, "You're the Most Precious Thing in My Life," to the film's soundtrack. Simultaneously, he continued releasing albums as Love and Kisses -- How Much, How Much I Love You (1978) and You Must Be Love (1979) -- and also released two soundtrack albums: Trocadero Bleu Citron (1978) and Winds of Change (1979). As if this wasn't enough music for his fans to consume, the prolific producer also released another concept album, Hunchback of Notre Dame (1978), and collaborated with Raymond Knehnetsky in a side project called Paris Connection, releasing a self-titled album on Casablanca in 1978.

By this point in time, Costandinos had his own orchestra, which he prominently featured on the 1979 album The Synchophonic Orchestra Featuring Alirol and Jacquet, and also had his own vocalist group called the Birds of Paris. Following the successes of 1977 and 1978, Costandinos' career began spiraling in a strange direction as 1979 advanced. His You Must Be Love album as Love and Kisses was a satisfactory yet formulaic offering, streamlined a bit in terms of song length for commercial acceptance. It was The Synchophonic Orchestra album, though, that proved to be the omen. First of all, the album featured a second side of down-tempo songs that had little to do with the dancefloor. Besides this out-of-character move, Costandinos only composed two of the album's songs, letting his orchestra handle most of the songwriting. While the album did have the producer's trademark sound, it signaled his waning enthusiasm after the numerous albums he released during 1978 and 1979. Furthermore, an ill-fated album with Tina Turner, Love Explosion, obviously didn't help. Costandinos soon parted ways with the struggling Casablanca and fell into oblivion just as disco was nearing its final days as a mass movement. In 1991, his Greatest Hits album surfaced, which featured a few of his early dancefloor anthems in their epic glory, but for the most part, his work remained out of print, obscuring his relevance as one of the disco era's premier producers. ~ Jason Birchmeier, All Music Guide
